Aafiyah Women’s Collective was not born fully formed. It unfolded slowly, emerging through listening, lived experience, and discernment, guided by the quiet realities women carry. I recently revisited an old “About Me” post from 2019 and couldn’t help but smile. It was written in a very different season: pre-COVID, during our homeschooling years, and while living in Egypt. So much has shifted since then. Subhana'llah! From completing my doctorate to founding a nonprofit and returning intentionally to women’s wellness work, the journey has unfolded quietly, over time. I’m grateful for who I was, and who I’m still becoming.
