This piece marks a thoughtful return to the heart of the work - reintroducing Aafiyah Women’s Collective with clarity, intention, and renewed vision. Aafiyah Women’s Collective was not born fully formed. It unfolded slowly, emerging through listening, lived experience, and discernment, guided by the quiet realities women carry. Today, Aafiyah Women’s Collective centers women’s wellness as lived, embodied, and shared, offering gentle spaces to pause.

This reflection looks back on the earlier chapters that shaped the journey, honoring where it all began. Revisiting an “About Me” from 2019 … pre-COVID, homeschooling, & life in Egypt … reminds me how much has shifted. From completing my doctorate to founding a nonprofit and returning to women’s wellness work, I am eternally grateful. About Me, Then offers a glimpse into the experiences, lessons, and intentions that laid the foundation for the work as it continues to evolve.
