ABOUT ME - then ...

I recently stumbled upon an old “About Me” blog post from 2019 and couldn’t help but smile. That was pre-COVID, during our homeschooling era, and in the middle of our Egypt stint. Not ancient history, but still ... a very different chapter and season in my life.

Reading it now, I was struck by how simple life felt then. Not that life is overly complicated now … it’s just different. Subhana'llah! So much has shifted, unfolded, and expanded since that time, and I embrace every bit of it.

Since then, I’ve completed my doctorate (hence now being called Dr. ’Demi Fauziyyah smile), founded a nonprofit, and made my way back — more intentionally — to my passion for women's health and wellness through my business. And along the way, I’ve added the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to the list of places that have shaped me. Ma shaa Allah.

Looking back reminds me that growth doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly, over years, through seasons of becoming. I’m grateful for who I was then, and deeply thankful for who I’m continuing to BECOME.
