1. LEGAL DISCLAIMER

The information, programs, services, events, retreats, content, and materials provided by Healthier Picks LLC, doing business as Aafiyah Women’s Collective (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) are provided for educational, informational, spiritual, and wellness purposes only.

 

Nothing contained on this website or within our services constitutes medical advice, psychological advice, legal advice, financial advice, or therapeutic treatment. Participation in any offering is voluntary and at your own discretion.

 

You should consult your physician or other qualified health provider before beginning any wellness program.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing this website, purchasing services, registering for events, submitting applications, or participating in any program offered by Aafiyah Women’s Collective, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

If you do not agree, you must not use this website or participate in our offerings.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Our services are generally intended for:

 

  • Women aged 18 and older

  • Individuals legally capable of entering binding contracts

 

We reserve the right to refuse service at our sole discretion.

4. SERVICES PROVIDED

Aafiyah Women’s Collective provides, but is not limited to:

 

  • Wellness retreats (including Sacred Paths Retreat Series)

  • Workshops and gatherings

  • Wellness & Grounding Sessions

  • Digital courses and content

  • Community events

  • Travel-based spiritual programming

  • Online memberships or circles

  • Physical or digital products

 

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service without prior notice.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

All payments are due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated in a written payment plan agreement.

 

Accepted payment methods may include:

 

  • Credit card

  • Debit card

  • Electronic transfer

  • Third-party processors

 

You agree:

 

  • To provide accurate billing information

  • That you are authorized to use the payment method

  • Not to initiate fraudulent chargebacks

 

We reserve the right to pursue collection efforts, legal action, and administrative fees in the event of payment disputes or chargebacks.

6. NO REFUND POLICY

All programs, services, retreats, workshops, deposits, digital products, and event registrations are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

 

We reserve the sole right to issue partial or limited refunds at our discretion.

 

Sacred Paths retreat deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, withdrawal, change of mind, inability to travel, or personal emergencies.

7. RETREAT & EVENT PARTICIPATION

Participation in retreats, travel experiences, or in-person events involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

 

  • Travel delays

  • Illness or injury

  • Weather conditions

  • Political instability

  • Acts of God

  • Pandemics

  • Government restrictions

  • War or civil unrest

 

By registering, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

 

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company shall not be liable for any delay, modification, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

 

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemic or epidemic

  • Government action

  • Travel restrictions

  • War or terrorism

  • Civil unrest

  • Airline or vendor cancellations

 

In such cases, we reserve the right to modify itineraries, reschedule programming, substitute components, or issue credit instead of refunds.

9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

You acknowledge that participation in wellness sessions, travel, physical movement activities, and retreats involves inherent risks.

 

You voluntarily assume all such risks and release Healthier Picks LLC, its officers, contractors, facilitators, scholars, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from participation.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

10. NO MEDICAL OR THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP

Wellness & Grounding Sessions and retreat experiences are non-clinical, faith-rooted, and educational in nature.

 

They do not establish:

 

  • A medical relationship

  • A therapist-client relationship

  • A licensed counseling relationship

 

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health crisis, seek professional care immediately.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website and within our offerings, including but not limited to:

 

  • Text

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Curriculum

  • Retreat structures

  • Journal prompts

  • PDFs

  • Videos

  • Slide decks

  • Recordings

 

Are all the exclusive intellectual property of Healthier Picks LLC.

 

You may not:

 

  • Reproduce

  • Record

  • Share

  • Teach

  • Republish

  • Sell

  • Modify

  • Distribute

 

without prior written permission.

 

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

12. COMMUNITY CONDUCT

Participants agree to:

 

  • Respect confidentiality

  • Refrain from harassment

  • Honor the sacred nature of gatherings

  • Not record private sessions without permission

 

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a program or retreat without refund for behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or misaligned with our community standards.

13. PRIVACY

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

We do not sell personal data. However, we may use third-party platforms for payment processing, email communication, or event management.

14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

 

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & ARBITRATION

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation.

 

If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in the State of Maryland.

 

You waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit against the Company.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Healthier Picks LLC, d/b/a Aafiyah Women’s Collective, regarding the use of services and website.
