Refund Policy - the basics

Aafiyah Women’s Collective curates intentional wellness experiences, retreats, workshops, memberships, digital offerings, and in-person gatherings that require advance planning, vendor coordination, venue reservations, travel arrangements, staffing, and material preparation.

Because of the nature of these offerings, all purchases are generally final and nonrefundable.

By registering for or purchasing any program, service, retreat, membership, digital product, session, or event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

General Non-Refundability

All fees paid to Aafiyah Women’s Collective, including but not limited to:
   •    Retreat deposits and payments
   •    Wellness sessions and consultations
   •    Workshops and courses (virtual or in-person)
   •    Membership fees
   •    Digital products and downloads
   •    Event tickets
   •    Application fees
   •    Vendor or participant fees
   •    Installment payments

are nonrefundable and nontransferable, unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

This policy applies regardless of:
   •    Personal scheduling conflicts
   •    Change of mind
   •    Travel interruptions
   •    Work obligations
   •    Family obligations
   •    Illness (except as otherwise required by law)
   •    Visa denial
   •    Failure to attend
   •    Late arrival or early departure

Retreat-Specific Terms

For retreats and travel-based experiences:
   •    Deposits are strictly nonrefundable under all circumstances.
   •    Payment plans remain binding financial commitments.
   •    Failure to complete payments does not constitute cancellation or release from financial responsibility.
   •    Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, and trip interruption.

Aafiyah Women’s Collective is not responsible for airline cancellations, visa denials, government restrictions, global events, pandemics, natural disasters, or other force majeure circumstances.

Force Majeure / Circumstances Beyond Control

If an event, retreat, or program must be modified, postponed, relocated, or canceled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Aafiyah Women’s Collective — including but not limited to:
   •    Acts of God
   •    Natural disasters
   •    Government restrictions
   •    War or civil unrest
   •    Public health emergencies
   •    Venue closures
   •    Travel bans

 

Aafiyah Women’s Collective reserves the right to:
   •    Reschedule the offering
   •    Offer credit toward a future program
   •    Modify the format (e.g., virtual conversion)
   •    Adjust dates or itinerary

 

No refunds will be guaranteed in such circumstances.

Proprietor Discretion Clause

Notwithstanding the above, the Proprietor of Aafiyah Women’s Collective (Healthier Picks LLC) reserves the sole and absolute discretion to grant limited refunds, credits, or payment accommodations on a case-by-case basis.

Any such refund or accommodation:
   •    Is not guaranteed
   •    Does not create precedent
   •    Does not modify this policy
   •    Does not waive the general nonrefundability terms

 

All discretionary decisions are final.
 

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Aafiyah Women’s Collective to attempt resolution constitutes a breach of this agreement.

 

The Collective reserves the right to:

 

  • Provide this policy as evidence to financial institutions

  • Recover any fees, administrative costs, or collection expenses incurred

  • Deny future participation in programs or services

Transfers

Registrations and purchases are generally nontransferable. Any exception must be approved in writing by Aafiyah Women’s Collective and may incur administrative fees.

Agreement to Policy

By completing any purchase, payment, registration, or enrollment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
